Health and Physical Education focuses on students enhancing their own and others’ health, safety, wellbeing and physical activity participation in varied and changing contexts.

Students in all year levels participate in Health & Physical Education for a minimum of 2 hours each week. Children engage in physical activities primarily to have fun, learn new skills and interact cooperatively with others..

Students have an opportunity to compete in inter school events in athletics, swimming, cross country, equestrian, basketball, netball, tennis, soccer and football.

All students from Foundation to Year 5 participate in weekly swimming lessons at Belfast Aquatics in Port Fairy and Year 6 students participate in a surf program during Term 4. Qualified instructors teach students and have a focus on safety, fun and self confidence in the water.
